Their focus in the love, arts, politics, education, and the food & culture are key components that hold the Black Community together. All of these components will be highlighted. Hence, making BLACK STREET a Movement and not merely a website. BLACK STREET’s main focus is showcasing prominent Black individuals as well as individuals of Black decent who are doing positive things within their community. BLACK STREET isn’t particular about the individuals featured. There is no discrimination of gender nor industry as long as it positively reflects and represents the beauty and diversity within our community. Yes there are many outlets who cater to the Black community, but not like this one. Their goal is to highlight as many people from as many industries as possible. Teachers, Nurses, Coaches, Pastors are examples of individuals who wouldn’t normally be featured for their Greatness. BLACK STREET believes their roles are essential in the growth and positivity of the Black community. These individuals are provided with a voice through a common outlet: BLACK STREET.
